Manama, Oct.29 (BNA): Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa received this evening Joëlle Garriaud-Maylam, member of the Senate of France and Secretary of the Senate Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs.

She commended strong bilateral relations, hailing the role of the French Embassy in cooperating with BACA to attract French activities that enrich the cultural life in Bahrain.

She extended an invitation to Senator Joëlle Garriaud-Maylam to attend the Invest in Culture Conference, which will be held in the Kingdom of Bahrain on the 19th January 2016.

Garriaud-Maylam has also invited (BACA) President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa to visit the French Senate to discuss ways of launching more joint projects between Bahrain and France.

The meeting was attended by French Ambassador Bernard Régnauld-Fabre and Hannah Shedyaq, who is charge of Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Heritage Unit at Qai branly Museum – Paris.
